Waves have announced a big update to their StudioRack plugin which they’ve renamed as ‘StudioVerse Audio Effects’ and released StudioVerse Instruments – a virtual instrument plugin rack where you can play, browse and audition thousands of custom-designed instrument presets from the StudioVerse library.

StudioVerse Instruments is a virtual instrument plugin rack that allows you to play, browse, and audition thousands of custom-designed instrument presets from the StudioVerse library. These presets are complex chains that combine multi-instrument layers, MIDI effects, and audio effects. You can also create and design your own unique "super instruments," publish them in the StudioVerse library, and share them across different DAWs.

New Update - StudioVerse Audio Effects

StudioVerse Audio Effects, formerly known as StudioRack which was released last year, is Waves’ huge online preset library of audio and instrument chains which are accessible inside your DAW. Users can play from thousands of chains that combine layered instruments, MIDI FX, and audio FX, create and share their own instrument presets across DAWs, and publish them on StudioVerse.

Today’s update brings a revamped UX making it faster and easier to find presets. The search engine has been improved by adding tags and suggested presets to a streamlined main plugin window. It is fully backwards compatible with old StudioRack presets and sessions.
