Mountainroad DSP, the people behind the popular auxCord plugin, have announced a new update for Lumina Delay which includes some well thought out additions to its features.
Originally released in February of this year, Lumina Delay is, in the developer’s words, ‘the world’s first fully parametric and immersive delay, improving on the limitations of standard delays’. Instead of traditional knobs, Lumina Delay employs an intuitive click-and-drag interface, enabling users to create delay points on a grid and effortlessly adjust parameters. With features like volume control, panning, HighPass, and LowPass filters, this plugin offers plenty of options.
What’s New In V2.2.0
Resizable Window: With Lumina 2.2.0, you can now resize the plugin window. Working on 7.1.4 delays is much more convenient with a larger window displaying more rows.
Updated Visuals: Mountainroad DSP have revamped the visual representation of the HiPass/LowPass controls. Gone are the rectangles, replaced by dumbbells that not only fit better with the overall design but also light up!
Improved Surround Support: Previously, Lumina only supported Stereo/Mono In and Surround Out. Version 2.2.0 adds support for Mono/Stereo/5.1/7.1.2/7.1.4 In and Out. Now, if you have a 7.1.4 track and want to add a delay to the entire track, you can route it directly into Lumina and place your delay points as needed.
Improved Zooming: + and - buttons have been added in the top right corner, making it easier to zoom in and out.
Fixed Bugs: Fixed a bug that affected the FX Bypass buttons. You can now bypass the FX buttons at the top without any issues.
Pricing & Availability
Lumina Delay is available in VST 3, AU and AAX formats for macOS and Windows operating systems and is currently on offer for $49 (normally $79) until 7th July. A 14-day free trial is also available.
