IK Multimedia has announced the release of the iLoud MTM MKII, the latest iteration of their popular compact nearfield studio monitors. The new monitors are designed to deliver enhanced performance with several key improvements.

Key Improvements:

• Enhanced Driver Design: The MTM MKII uses lighter and stiffer materials for its 3.5" custom composite woofers, providing better midrange clarity and extending bass response down to 36Hz. It also features a 1" back-chamber loaded silk dome tweeter.

• Expanded Frequency Response: The MTM MKII offers a flat frequency response within ±2dB from 48Hz to 28kHz and an extended response from 36Hz to 32kHz at -10dB.

• Advanced DSP: The monitors are equipped with advanced DSP that operates at 96kHz, offering improved ARC (Acoustic Room Correction) algorithms and full control over crossovers, filtering, time alignment, EQ, and dynamic control.

• Power Management: Each monitor is powered by high-efficiency Class D amplifiers, delivering a total of 100W RMS (70W for LF and 30W for HF), and can achieve a maximum SPL of 112.5dB.

• Versatile Monitoring Options: The monitors come with adjustable low-frequency extension, LF/HF trim, and sensitivity settings, along with ARC self-calibration via an included MEMS microphone (for pairs and bundles).

• MTM Design: The Midrange-Tweeter-Midrange (D’Appolito) configuration provides precise, point-source sound, ideal for close-distance monitoring, reducing acoustic reflections.

• Integrated Tilting Isolation Stand: The included stand allows for optimal placement and isolation on desktops.

• Large Flare Bass Reflex Port: Enhances low-frequency performance.

• X-MONITOR Integration: The iLoud MTM MKII integrates with IK Multimedia's X-MONITOR software, allowing for advanced customization, delay compensation, and virtual monitoring voices that emulate other top studio monitors.
