As many of us will know, even excellent vocal recordings can be marred by excessive sibilance, and removing it often negatively affects track clarity. Antares explain that with its AI Assist feature (activated via the ‘Assist’ button), Vocal De-Esser analyses your vocal tracks and suggests the ideal settings for taming soft (S, Sh, Z) and hard (T, Ch, K) sibilants. These settings can be further adjusted to taste via uniquely tuned control knobs, ensuring ultimate effectiveness in managing harsh vocal sounds. The plugin also features a Solo button for monitoring sibilance alone and a Link button for connecting the two sibilant controls.

Beyond singing, Vocal De-Esser is also designed for cleaning up spoken dialogue for podcasts, recorded interviews, film dialogue, and more. Since Vocal De-Esser operates in real-time, you can even apply it to a live audio feed.
